 dont think its a bad burn as the guys at mandrakesoft did it for me. ive now tried installing it about 8 times with differant results, ultimately ending in me not being able to boot linux. am sorry to say that i might be nearly at the stage where im gona give up (sadly) and put up with os 9.1 :o(

could it just be a bad burn? I had to reburn disc one (I used a friends CD-R
with cheap discs... never again), but disc 2 mounts just fine in Mac OS. Oh
well, I just installed disc one, and now I've finished installation (YAY)...
now I've just got to figure out how to boot the damn thing :)
