I just installed the XFree86 4.1.0 rpm's. First i removed all the old
XFree rpm's and installed then the new ones.
Good point: My Voodoo3 2k is now supported and I've got a fast X!
What I can't understand: my keyboard is totally messed up. I have an 'n'
on the space and the other keys show random numbers and letters. This
happends when i run X with 'startx'.
I do this, because kdm seems not to like XF 4.1.0 (the login-window
isn't drawn, and I can't even type in user and password).
The config file seems to be right, the keyboard part isn't changed and
it worked under the old XF.
Under console: no problems.
Any ideas what to change or what to do?
Should I update the rpm's over the old ones without removing them
before?
Thanks in advance
Luc
