I use it for a little bit of both. I have tried installing YellowDog Linux
2.0 on an extra 2 GB hard disk and ran into a few problems with the display.
There are no options while in the installation process to test the monitor
and video card before committing to a specific setting that works on the
Mac. None of these worked in YDL. I have been waiting for LinuxPPC for a
month now, but there are sometimes shipping issues that delay the arrival
over here. BootX usually works for me, depending on which file version I
boot from with BootX. As of yet, I haven't tried the Mandrake download as
Internet connections are not always reliable and are always relatively slow.
I have seen the Intel version however, and am very itchy to try the PPC
version as soon as possible.
