Dippy, I just tried changing the security settings in the Control Center. Although it's not apparent, the settings don't take effect until you reboot. If you were to run msec on the command line, you would see a message to that effect. I changed from low->medium, and back to low, and after rebooting the changes did take effect. Stew Benedict
