I get dumped into a console because I don't have the tdfx module..using
the fbdev module makes my screen half size with the colours all
wrong..gonna try some modules I downloaded earlier.
in the vmlinux packaged with the cd there doesn't seem to be support for
hfs filesystems, or is this something with my setup...which right now
looks pretty bad :P
I also don't have network access..I have two cards, the motherboard one
and a Farralon one. It detects both but can't use them. Telneting to
myself works though.
what exactly does this initrd file you directed me towards do? I was able
to boot normally by just moving the all.gz file somewhere other than root.
