I''ve noticed some of you with both powerbooks (what I have) and Imacs having trouble
with hardware acceleration in 8.0 beta 1. Which is XFree86 4.03. However, I''ve just
finished installing SuSe 7.1 (yeah I know.) and by default it used the settings that
I''ve seen people using as a working around usefbdev 15-bit option to get a working x
setup. I''ve send my XFree86.0.log file to suse to see what they make out of it, but
I have a feeling it''s more of an XFree86.org Problem. If anyone has had better
results with the ATI rage 128 Mobility chipset please let me know and I''ll keep you
posted on any information I get back. <br>
