RC_1 (Release Candidate) will be out "Very Soon Now" (TM), but this will
be ISO's - so it will not help you install over the net. For this you
will want to get the contents of "/boot" from one of the mirrors and then
select a net install (I hope you have a fast connection). What is on the
mirror now is essentially the contents of RC_1, although we're bouncing
back and forth about which kernel to use for the installer.
As far as the Airport - I don't have the luxury myself, but there is
kernel support for the device.
