This is Mandrake's X configuration tool.  I doubt the generic SVGA will do
much for you.  Do you know what video card is in this machine?  In some
cases adding the:

Option      "UseFBDev"

is the trick to getting X working - I've added this as default now for
Rage128.

I don't really have a good way of knowing exactly which partition MacOS is
on. I take a guess essentially, which works in most simple cases.

Haven't had a pressing need to go with the newer versions yet.  It's sort
of a crap shoot, as I've also read of issues with the newer versions on
some machines.  The version we are using seems to successfully boot a
fairly broad spectrum of machines.
