I had upgraded from xpmac to 4.0.3 then to 4.1. I started having wierd problems soon after. First xinetd would start okay but then I noticed it was showing that it failed when the system was going down. I upgraded to the newer version of it and that problem went away. Then I started having regular applications Konqeror, Kmail that would crash and after that refuse to start up. I noticed on the listing that the Xfont server was failing on going down, so I assume it was crashing at some time. Then X itself was crashing. I have gone back to 4.0.3 and will see what happens from here. My systems seems to be stable once again (only a few minutes of use) but my fonts are nasty looking. Have to get to work on that now. Any one have any ideas on what might have gone wrong. I have an Imac DV 400.
