The install does not require anything from the MacOS side to setup the
bootloader or anything else. I know this for sure as I did not even have
MacOS on my machine for months.
3 files are copied to the bootstrap:
ofboot.b
yaboot.conf
yaboot
yaboot is a binary
yaboot.conf is a copy of the file in /etc
ofboot.b is created by the ybin scripts, based on machine info gleaned
from /proc and yaboot.conf.
MacOS Rom is only needed for MOL
Let me know on the SCSI - and my apologies for omitting the aic7xxx
driver.
