As some other users have discovered, this is due to the omission of the
aic7xxx SCSI driver from the install kernel.  Although nearly 40 SCSI
drivers were included, this one, apparently rather important one was
omitted, and apparently we did not have anyone that participated in the
betas that had a machine that uses one of these cards.
