That's because Stew doesn't have full access to update the repository. He can upload rpms but not update any of the installer files. Which frankly is stupid. The only time hdlist etc... gets updated is when someone else at Mandrake does it. The last time it happened nobody even knew who did it. I'm guessing someone in France decided to play with cooker-ppc and redid it so they could do a network install. I guess I'm frustrated with a number of things about Mandrake and ppc. And none of them having anything to do with Stew. He's doing a great job considering. However, if Mandrake really wants to do PPC they really need to give Stew the resources to do it. That means a new build machine in Paris (the previous one is dead) and access to update the ppc trees as he sees fit. </rant> -- Ben Reser <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> http://ben.reser.org What difference does it make to the dead, the orphans, and the homeless, whether the mad destruction is wrought under the name of totalitarianism or the holy name of liberty and democracy? - Ghandi
