Okay ever since the emails went out talking about the future of Mandrakesoft I've been receiving quries from clients, friends, and various people on IRC about just that how viable of the future of Mandrake.
The impression that many people have drawn based upon this announcement is that Mandrake is going to die soon. Now I realize that of course if people come through and do sign up for the club then that won't happen. But the question is what happens if that doesn't happen? Is this a matter of having to make hard choices about staffing and the projects Mandrake will continue to support. Or is this a matter of staying in business. I think it would put a lot of peoples minds to rest who have already committed to Mandrake and have provided support either here or fincancially or even both, if it is made clear it is the former.
