Graphic install on Dual G4

Title: Graphic install on Dual G4

I tried to install Linux-Mandrake PPC 8.2B1 on a PowerMac G4 Dual 1 gig, the most recent one.  I have a GeForce4 MX video card in it, and none of the video solution proposed by the graphic installer work.  I get a blury screen absolutely unreadable.  The nVidia script is surely not up to date...

I wonder if I ever installed Linux in text mode if it would work, but I doubt it, he :)  Since I’m a super newbie to Linux, I’m not even thinking to install it in text mode.
