I entirely agree with Mike. The unbelievable fact is that Stew is the one and
the only one, if I have well understood (?), to be employed by Mandrakesoft
to make the ppc distribution. And that Stew is doing an extraordinary job is
a fact that goes without saying. But it is very unreasonable, from a
pragmatical point of view, to base the development of such a product on one
and only one man. Even if Stew has never asked something - and that is why I
have hesitated a lot to write this email - it seems obvious that he needs a
colleague, and a colleague as good as Stew is, a problem which is probably
difficult twice for Mandrakesoft, but a problem that demands a solution, in
my opinion. I like a lot the Mandrake 8.2 ppc already in its beta version, I
like it more thant the Mac OS X that I have tried a little, and I would be
surprised nobody shares this feeling with me; it's a very good point for
Mandrakesoft products, so Mandrakesoft would be well inspired to do more for
its "PPC Department".
I do not add more arguments, I think it is useless, because this point seems
too obvious. I hope only that the discussion will be finally very useful for
the Mandrake ppc future.
