I am new to this list. This is my first posting. I hope a few words of encouragement do not break the rules.
I am a strong believer in open source and Linux on the PPC platform. I am not a programmer and am just getting into UNIX (thanks to Steve Jobs for giving me the starting push with Mac OS X.) I have bought way more distros than I'll ever install and have "joined/donated to" Mandrake to help keep the cause alive. I do not know what I can do to help, except maybe write documentation. This is real important stuff. There are a lot of low income students in the world. For a school like ours (which is a university for all the folks of our state) the concept of free software for our students is really vital for closing the digital divide. Thank you, all of you, for what you are doing to make this a stable product!
