Has anyone running Mandrake been able to get an IP address from an Apple Airport Base Station at boot time (over either the wired or unwired interface)?
During the install, it finds my built in ethernet and asks if I want to configure it. "Yes, DHCP". Then it asks if I have another network device. I say 'yes', and choose the Apple Airport driver. It offers to configure that device for DHCP, I say yes. Everything seems to go fine. So now I supposedly have eth0 and eth1 both trying to get IPs and routing info from the base station. When I reboot the computer, it cannot bring up either interface. Windows 2000 and Mac OS X clients are both able to get internet access through the base station, using both the wired and 802.11b interfaces, so I know it's working.
