Most of the times, when I type anything longer than 2 words or so, the cursor simply jumps anywhere, e.g. up or down a line or out of the window I'm using. I guess it's either a trackpad or a mouse problem, because it seems to be related to the position of the mouse cursor. I've got an iBook 600 Mhz and a Logitech wireless optical wheel mouse. It's not a huge bug, but quite annoying as I was hoping to use Linux for working with Lyx/LaTeX...
btw, Mozilla is working now, though I don't know why. Johanna
