Actually come to think of it my Titanium is doing this too. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Perhaps the newer PMUD fixes this. At least the 0.10 version says something about lid opening and closing in it's changes. I haven't specifically tried it to see if it resolves the issue.
