From where I see it, it's in bluebird/ppc, right next to
bluebird/i586, which in theory would propagate as you say to a
Mandrake/8.2/ppc tree.

I'm not sure where those cooker files are coming from.  Some are noarch,
so they get added as x86 folks build new packages. I haven't kicked off a
cooker build yet.
