thanks for the quick reply ben. i installed the newest rpm restarted and when i close the lid for a few seconds and open it back up i crash(screen is back to normal but i can't type). i was wondering if you put it to sleep a different way that might work for me? i have a Ti G4 667. thanks for any help.. mike
