I really wasen't aware that this is the way it worked. it makes perfect
sense now that they don't provide these resources. thanks for clearing this
up for me. it is just a little fustrating when tring to find a newer package
such as kde3 and there is no clear place to look. i'll be sure to keep the
current contrib in a safe place because i don't know how much longer the
packges will work under 8.2 ;)
