here is the config made by XFdrake :
Section "InputDevice"
Identifier "Keyboard1"
Driver "Keyboard"
Option "AutoRepeat" "250 30"
Option "XkbRules" "xfree86"
Option "XkbModel" "pc105"
Option "XkbLayout" "macintosh/fr_new"
EndSection
should i put something else,, as Xkbdmodel, instead of the given "pc105"
for a macintosh adb extended keyboard. the keymaps are in the file fr_new
in the subfolder macintosh, is it right to give the Xkbdlayout that way :
"macintosh/fr_new" ?
fortunately, thanks to KDE, i do have a somehow "french" keyboard more or
less working, it is of "pc105" type (chosen with KDE control center) but
within gdm i have another keyboard-layout, where is the file to change that.
for the time being the only right keyboard map is on the console without X.
it seems to me that, using KDE, i got three type of kbdlayout :
console
gdm (or using blackbox, iceWM...)
KDE
is it possible to have the same keyboard layout for all of that ?
