And the acard ide driver doesn't support these cards? [breser@titanium breser]$ uname -a Linux titanium.brain.org 2.4.18-6.10mdk #1 Fri Jun 7 12:49:28 MDT 2002 ppc unknown [breser@titanium breser]$ locate aec62 /usr/src/linux-2.4.18-6.10mdk/drivers/ide/aec62xx.c (yes 6.10mdk was never released but it should be similar to the 8.?mdk that's in updates now) At least from what I can tell from the linux-ide site I would guess that would be the driver that supported those cards: http://www.linux-ide.org/chipsets.html -- Ben Reser <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> http://ben.reser.org We tend to see all wars through the lens of the current conflict, and we mine history for lessons convenient to the present purpose. - Brian Hayes
