I post this here because I don't see the same problem on my x86 cooker box. I just re-synced everything (158 packages) and urpmi would not install them. I ended up doing a rpm -Fvh on everything in /var/cache/urpmi/rpms to get it installed. Subsequent tries of urpmi gave a segfault.

Now when I did another urpmi.update for my cooker source and then ran urpmi --auto-select, drakconf came up. After selecting Y to install, I get this error:

perl: rpmio_internal.h:447: c2f: Assertion `fd && fd->magic == 0x04463138' failed.
Aborted (core dumped)

Any ideas on what this might be?

Doing an rpm -Fvh on drakconf rpm also resulted in a error unpacking /usr/share/mcc/themes/default/wizard-mdk_128.png with a bad file descriptor from cpio. Maybe that is the problem?

CC'ing this to Francois in case there is some way he can make urpmi more resilient to this type of error if this is in fact the cause for the core dump.
