I have an iMac 333Mhz with a 6 Gig drive and 96MB RAM. I did a netboot and an FTP install of Mandrake PPC 8.2, and the install process seemed to go well. When it said I needed to reboot to start Mandrake, I did so. I get a bootloader menu and choose "l" for linux. Then Yaboot comes up, and soon it attempts to load the kernel. It then fails:
"hd:5,/vmlinuz-2.4.18-6.1mdk: Unknown or corrupt filesystem" I tried going into OpenFirmware and entering: "setenv boot-device hd:5,\\:tbxi" Rebooting after this produces exactly the same results. Any ideas on how to get my iMac to boot Mandrake would be hugely appreciated.
