fdisk? Normally pdisk is used on Macs. > recreated my mirror directory for mdk, did the gen distrib, a few things > complained about dependencies. > > started a graphical install, got all the way to choosing package groups, and > got the following error when attempting to install packages via ftp. > > error ordering package list: cannot open Requirename index using db3 - No such > file or directory (2) > No idea. I've seen x86 folks reporting this, but the PPC installer isn't tied to the x86 one, and since you're using the ISO, the installer itself is essentially frozen. I don't see how updated RPMS themselves could trigger this, but I can try a new install myself with the newest RPMs. Stew Benedict -- MandrakeSoft PPC FAQ: http://www.linux-mandrake.com/en/ppcFAQ.php3 IRC: irc.openproject.net #cooker-ppc Archives: http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=mandrake-cooker-ppc&r=1&w=2
