No argument from me that it would be a good idea. As you said though, time is the issue for me. I'm about 3 weeks behind now on the new release, which is supposed to be done a week from now. After I do get that out, if the cycle continues as it has, PPC then takes a back seat to whatever else I get assigned to work on. Hopefully this time around support is going to be better for a wider cross-section of machines, thanks to the testers here and the folks on IRC. XFree support seems to have gotten better, and offering the 2 kernels helps for the newest machines. iMacLinux.net used to be a good source when we all were actively working on it. Users were able to easily contribute HowTo's etc., but it has sort of lost popularity due to a combination of the infighting in the PPC Linux community and the fact that the principle maintainers just ran out of free time to maintain the site and add new material. BTW - I just took a peek at one mirror and RC1-CD1 is there, so they must be trickling out.
