Hello,
Hoops, it's not only on compaq with ncr53c8xx or cpqarray that I receive
an error
when I install from the last 'bootnet.img" and last mirror.
To day (sunday 29 at pm 6:40), I try to reinstall on my test machine
(Dell optiplex
with an ADAPTEC 2940 adaptator) just for have the latest cooker on work.
(the running
version is at last one week old!!!).
So, system boot, well identifie the net card, load the second stage from
my ftp system
and send:
--------------------------
Avez-vous des adaptateurs SCSI ?
----- ------ --------
| | Non | | Oui | | Retour | |
---- ----- --------

---------------------------
on tty1, and
"
in loadDeviceDriver, ks= 0, typName = SCSI
pci probing for SCSI devices
pci probe found 2 SCSI devices
found driver for adaptec 2740, 2840, 2940
running: /bin/insmod /bin/insmod /modules/aic7xxx.o
insmod failed!
multiple aic7xxx devices found
"
Why ?
I repeat, I install a cooker on this machine with a bootnet.img just
one week ago without any pci and/or scsi problem...
