ok, my standard complicated system with venus or whatever
mandrake/redhat system has a problem. SUSE hasnt....
problem: soundcard, sb16 with ide and cdrom drive.
My main system has 4 hard disks, a scsi card (adaptect 2940uw) with
cdrom, pd-drive and zip and some other stuff. Also have a scanner
connected and lets say interupts with v3000 AGo, a diamond moster as
well is a mess...
Not complaining about that,,,
if I stick mandrake disk in scsi cdrom, it will boot from it.
BUT whan I get the question to go and do it, it cannot find the cdrom
UNLESS I move it to my sb based ATAPI drive...
is there anything in the code forcing it to go to the first drive
letter used for cdrom?????
I mean I may have 4....
I cannot boot from the Sb based cdrom. However SUSE can...
