Hi!
Is there a way to upgrade to a new release of Mandrake without using
the "from the bios" procedure, I mean without using the boot disks,
etc.?
The problem with the "from the bios" procedure is that some hardware
is not recognized during the installation. I got a laptop where the
pcmcia cdrom drive wasn't recognized with the disks, but was
successfully recognized once the distribution was installed. You see
the problem... I can't upgrade to Mdk60, even though I can read the
cdrom from the current installation... =(

PS : I installed the Redhat 5.2 by copying everything to a Windows
partition, and then I choosed "install from HD"... =(
