The new kernel is NOT ok for me as it didn't install a new
initrd.. so now I can't boot my system as i fucked up and installed with -U... The
initrd is still 2.2.11 and the aic78xx module in it is of course compiled with 2.2.11
and refuses to load under 2.2.13pre. And wich of the kernel*.rpm should be -i instead
of -U?? Is there noway for you to warn users that they might have fucked up their
installation? Or put into the script that if -U was used refuse to go on?

Hi I installed the new 2.2.13 kernel through a rpm -U.
I still doubt we want that operation delete the previous kernel. I Imagine
the new one would not have booted...
Would it be possible to keep a copy with an old extension? I really think
that the way it works now is too dangeroous.
