Hi all,

Just before we announce PPP is ok I have a bit of a problem.

I have been unable to set up a dial in server using ppp 2.3.9 and
linuxconf.

I was able to get it to work using the old ppp 2.3.7-3 and linuxconf
1.15.

When I try to su to a special PPP only account I get the following
message.

[root@duncan RPMS]# su FoxDial
/usr/sbin/pppd: must be root to run /usr/sbin/pppd, since it is not
setuid-root
[root@duncan RPMS]#

also when I upgraded the ppp I got the following rpm warning.

[root@duncan RPMS]# rpm -Uvh ppp-2.3.9-2mdk.i586.rpm
ppp
##################################################
/var/tmp/rpm-tmp.94675: line 8: syntax error: unexpected end of file
execution of script failed
[root@duncan RPMS]#

Any thoughts?

Dunc
