Hi,
Back for fews days, I update my mirror and install the last cooker...
All seems OK,;;
But I can't reboot:
"Partition check:
RAMDISK: Compressed image found at block 0
VFS: Mounted root (ext2 filesystem).
kmod: failed to exec /sbin/modprobe -s -k block-major-8, errno = 2
VFS: Cannot open root device 08:02
Kernel panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on 08:02"
In doubt, I Re-install but result is the same.
So, I make a bootnet.img, boot whith it but a soon as possible I switch
to
"F2" and try to manually mount "/tmp/sda1" my "/boot" partition, Ok
I unmount and try "/dev/sda2" the root partition... OK
I CHROOT to it and work normally. I walk on the partition's searching
here and here for the reason I can't boot normally with.
But after walking, I'am tired and have found nothing...
the configuration:
Pentium II with a lot a memory (128 Mo)
Adaptec 2940 with a 9 Go drive.
This config was wrking with 'Helios' from a couple of days.
