I just installed Mandrake 6.1 onto my system. I have used older
versions of Mandrake and Redhat with PHP3 installed as a module under
Apache without problems. It appears that this new version of Mandrake
uses Midgard for http modules and services. I checked their web page,
but was unable to obtain any information regarding my current problem.
I create the hello.php3 file according to the information provided at
http://php3.org. I placed the file in the /home/httpd/html directory.
I try to access the file by typing http://localhost/hello.php3 in my web

broswer. The server returns the following error message:

Fatal error: midgard module not found in - on line 0

Does anyone have any idea what my current problem could be?

Midgard does not use the mod_php3 module, but instead calls modules
dynamically according to their web site. Any information would be
greatly appreciated!!!
