I get the same thing that Chris is seeing on my IBM ThinkPad 600E, with Xircom PCMCIA Ethernet card, when trying to install Helios. I did however have Mandrake 6.0 installed on the same machine. I also have tested panoramix a couple of times but it never seems to finish the install I get an error when it tries to install lilo that it can't find the kernel package. I would have to try the install again to get the exact error message. I tried gi_pcmcia.img and gi_hd.img. --Mark --- Chris Cobb <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Sorry to say, but I don't even know what Panoramix > is. > > I'm not an expert, but I've installed Redhat and > Mandrake 10-20 times on 3 separate machines without > this problem. > > I am using the standard bootnet.img file from the > 6.1 distro.
