first of all, panoramix did goes all right through the install ?
i mean, the mouse did work at install, and also the X server?


So the generated XF86Config isn't nice with your poor mouse...
Could you try

perl -ne 'print if /"Pointer/ .. /Device/' /etc/X11/XF86Config

and tell what's wrong?


as for the option, you mean adding ``   Option "noblt"' ?
The best would be to patch /usr/lib/X11/Cards but that's quite tough (needs a
regeneration of XFree86 rpm's (chmouel?))
another solution would be a hack somewhere else in the XFdrake code...
i'm looking at it...
