Several of my packages show up multiple times, after I screwed around with
updates via RPMs of newer packages.

kpackage won't let me remove the older packages, claiming that each package
selction 'refers to multiple packages'.

I can do the CLI rpm -e either, for the same error.

How do I get rid of these packages, without having to reinstall everything?

Harry

P.S. This came originally out of trying to apply an 'update' via RPM, and
being told that there are 'conflicts' with the older package - Well, duh,
isn't that the word 'upgrade' is supposed to address? So, when I forced the
install, by selcting 'REPLACE', I ended up with two copies of the rpms in
the rpm database, and, in the case of BeroList, incomplete installs.
