Hello,
I'm getting the following error with a lot of KDE themes:
(Trying to initialize the theme through the "KDE Control Center"
Failed to unpack /usr/share/apps/kthememgr/Themes/Factory.tar.gz with
cd "/home/stefan/.kde/share/apps/kthememgr/Work/" ; gzip -c -d
/usr/share/apps/kthememgr/Themes/Factory.tar.gz | tar xf -
When I do it manually, in my home-dir, I get the following error:
bash-2.03$ gzip -dc /usr/share/apps/kthememgr/Themes/Factory.tar.gz |
tar -xf -
tar: Factory/Factory.preview.jpg: Error while closing: Operation not
permitted
tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors
As root, no problems.. but when I look at the permisions, one file is
strange (the same as above):
-rw-r-Sr-- 1 root root 21583 Feb 8 1999
Factory.preview.jpg
Is the SUID (??) bit needed for this file?
Greetings,
Stefan van der Eijk
