as you can see at the moment I use Windows98 and TheBat.
Today I have done an attempt to reinstall cooker without reformatting
hda1 !!!
GI install does not work... with the latest update!!!
The error message is too long and I don't have... :(
The installation stops with a message about xkbcomp, user 0 and
getpwid...
At the end I have tryied everything and the only results ( my stupid
error ) is that I have lost half of my sources and
configuration ( cvs, MB of software, Netscape bookmarks ). Just saved
something and cooker mirror.
At the moment I have only RedHat 6.1 on CD ( and lots of old
distributions like debian 2.0 )
The problem is serious, cooker cannot be installed ( italian
nationalization ? ).
I have done lots of attempts using GI and old installation but the
error is the same also on formatted disk!
