This is a joke :-))
I already have ORBit 5.1 updated, and entire gnome 1.0.53, GCC 2.96.x snapshot
( very fast ) and pgcc 2.95.2 ... I need a working nationalized installation
:-)))))

Someone can help me in making rpm from compiled packages that not have .spec
files? I try many compiler options and install the files only after a perfect
compilation ( just some warnings ) but don't know how rpm files can be done.
( I want make a CD installation with .i686 compiled package for restore my
Mandrake cooker compiled on my system but sometimes the spec file is not
included. )

When I try to compile something that cannot be compiled use rpm -ivh --force
gcc and glibc for make the system clean. This make my system like a fresh
install or not?

Someone can tell me something about mmap? The xfmail mantainer said that use
Mandrake 6.1 and never had problems with mmap....

Bye
Alessandro
