Hello,
I have a big network problem using mandrake, more precisely with
tcp. For example, when i use ftp, putting a file is ten (or more) times
faster than getting a file (very very slow). All network services using
tcp have the same problem but all is right with udp (nfs is faster than
ftp).
After a week, i have no more ideas ... so if somebody can help with
an idea, a clue ...
kernel : 2.2.13-23mdk
network card : 3c905B vortex integrated (dell optiplex gn+)
I use tcpdump to scan the network and there is no problem ... getting a
file is slow and the problem seems to come from my box.
what can i check ? what can i do ?
