Testing cooker today, using network graphic installer:

- Text screen before switching to graphic mode are not good looking,
because of blinking cursor.

- There are 3 'things' at the left bottom, can guess what's their use.
Only after pressing them can I understand what they're supposed to do
(change colors). Confusing.

- 'choose your language': good. Except that I can't choose my language
(that's the one my mother taught me 30 years ago), only the language
I want to use during the installation.

- 'select installation class': how can I guess what 'recommended',
'customized' and 'expert' mean ? I take 'recommended'.

- 'setup filesystem': at the top, there is a clickable area
('ext2', 'swap'...) but nothing happens when I click on it. Confusing.
Then I find the way the whole thing works confusing too.

- then 'an error occured \ creation of rpm database failed: .'.
I'm supposed to click on 'OK' but it's not OK. Clicking on OK doesn't
help. Confusing.

- I try to switch virtual consoles with F1 / F2 / F3... but it doesn't
work. Slightly confusing for someone used to install Red Hats and
Mandrakes. Switchin with ALT-Fn of course does the trick.

- Error message on console 3 says: 'failed to mkdir /mnt/mnt/cdrom: File
exists' and 'EROOR: creation of rpm database failed: at
/usr/bin/perl-install/pkgs.pm line 325.'

Last remark: I find confusing that one can't validate an entry in a list
by double-clicking on it.

        S.
