Something was wrong with the network protion af the last install. not sure what
or were to look but it didn't automaticaly set up my modem and even though I
made an rc.serial for it after I rebooted it wouldn't make the conection. It
would start to logon to the server and just hangup. What makes this strange is
that it I issued a setserial into a shell used it for many hours on the net but
it didn't work at all after i rebooted. My user account even told me that ppp
wasn't compiled into the kernel. Very strange considering I was using it just
fine before I rebooted.
