Hi,
A few of the packages I maintain I couldn't completely test due to a lack
of appropriate hardware, these are:
isdn4k-utils (3.1b1-4mdk)
isdn4net (1.4.1-2mdk)
isicom (1.0-3mdk)
Now the above I tested to make sure they had docs, executed ok etc, but a
lot of the executables in the isdn packages wouldn't run because they
couldn't open specific isdn devices. Isicom requires a multitech modem I
think (for firmware loading).
also....
Here are some packages that I tested, seem to work ok, but need to be
tested on either other hardware (awesfx), higher load (inn) or on an
advanced level (jade/stylesheets).
awesfx (0.4.3a-6mdk):
Could someone with an SB Awe64 test awesfx, it works 100% great on my
Awe32, a good way to test is to follow the readme and see if you can get
it to play notes, then move on from there. I tested it with several
soundbanks and it seems to work fine. So if someone could test (and
possibly try to debug) that would be neat since I don't have access to a
64.
jade (1.2.1-8mdk)/stylesheets (0.10-1mdk):
I tested these packages and they seem to be ok, but my knowledge of sgml
etc is pretty limited, so if anyone is an expert on that kind thing, they
might want to try the new packages and make sure that more advanced stuff
still works!
inn 2.2.2-2mdk:
does anyone have a live newsfeed they can play with? i tested it locally,
but i don't have access to a live newsfeed (most ISPs that I know only
give partial feeds to T1 or higher bandwidth customers), so if someone has
a nice feed behind a cable modem and uses inn maybe you could give this a
quick retest with a live feed.
ppp (2.3.10-5mdk):
i tested it this on my i486 box (rebuilt from the SRPM) and on my i586
through a vpn tunnel, it seems to work ok, but if someone could test the
i586 binary on an actual computer with a modem in it that'd be neat.
Thanks
