I have tested the rhs-printerfilter-1.58-3mdk with my HP dj820cxi. There is problems: 1- there are mismath between pbm2ppa and pnm2ppa in the ps-to-printer.fpi, and the printer number is 820 and not 850. 2- there is problem into the ppa*.rpm : we found only the pnm2ppa binary who is not the latest version at time of build and there is not the pbm2ppa binary. Ther is also missing files, the pbm2ppa.conf (for pbm2ppa) and pnm2ppa.conf (for pbm2ppa) if you want the best performane, you will need the both files. remember : pbm2ppa 0.8.6 is a stable version, is fast and work good, but is only bw. pnm2ppa 991128 is an alpha version, seems to work good but is still under developpement, has a bw option who is very slower than pbm2ppa. I have modified te ps-to printer.fpi, added the missing files, and it work good, I can use printool to set lp queues and print normally. One remark : with this method, we cant pass any option to pnm2ppa via printool, eg draft mode.
