I burned a CD from the ISO and tried booting it on my
regular machine, no problem, but when I boot it on my
laptop I get passed the PCMCIA window and then it
scrolls down and says entering second stage. At this
point it spins the cd a few moments and then displays
something to the effect of:
X11Transocket: cannot connet
and then scrolls a bunch of lines and stops at:
(7)ISO9660 Extensions:RRID_1991A
I have to reboot at this point.
The system is a CTX EZbook 700 series with the
Neomagic Chipset.
I think it has something to do with the display,
becuase I also tried it on another Desktop system and
it boots into Drakx.
Other than This I like the new install feature and
look foward to getting it installed to check out the
rest of the new things.
