Mandrake Team,
I must concur, the upgrade does take a long time (I assume this
due to the seeking of the packages in the current configuration), but
afterward everything is roses. This is the best Linux
installation/distribution I have ever seen. I have seen lots of GUI
installs and pretty distros, but usually they are crippled in some way
(e.g. EasyLinux doesn't have a C/C++ compiler or Apache).
I have been and now have more reason to be, a serious Mandrake
proponent. I recommend it to all of my clients, and I haven't had a
complaint yet.
