I could , but that would involve using another department. Our cd burner is so old
that it runs on win3.11! ;) Like I said, I have never had a problemdoing this with
anyother distribution (MD6.1 RH6.1 OBSD...) so I was wondering if there was something
wrong with the ftp sites.
Thanks!

Why not download the ISO and make a CD instead? That might solve a lot of
problems...if it's an option.

Subject: [Cooker] problems downloading
Is everyone having problems downloading the oxygen or is it just me. I
have probably tried to download the dist 100 times since Thursday with 4
different ftp sites. I keep getting errors and it downloads some files
and then it deletes (unlinks) other files...
Whenever it tells me that there are no more files to download then I try
a network install. I can get as far as the second stage and then it
craps out and tells me it is unmounting everything and rebooting. I can
download the second stage.
I am using mirror, I have not had a problem with it before. Here is my
configuration file:
package=mirror
comment=The Mirror Package
#site=rpmfind.net
site=ftp.sunet.se
#site=csociety-ftp.ecn.purdue.edu
#site=sunsite.uio.no
passive_ftp=true

Any helpful hints would be appreciated! TIA!!
