I disagree. The only thing I see as causing problems is a patched
kernel, so if you're worried you can go with Linus' vanilla kernel. I
have been using Mandrake Cooker from the start, and I'm happy to say
that I have had no data loss related to the installation of Mandrake
Cooker, which I update daily.
